I was not really shocked when I read this article about the recall of Infants Tylenol. Over the last few
years there have been numerous recalls, just in the last 3years, Infant Tylenol has been recalled twice.
I don't think that it shocks the American public anymore when this happens. Although I watch the
recalls more closely now since I have a child. Before I had my son, I really never paid that much
attention to them. But if you are a parent, Infant Tylenol is a normal thing to have in your diaper bag
for when you little ones is not feeling good, or is getting shots, or teething. I think that this company
is in too big a hurry to mass produce this product to make sure that it is safe for the infants' that will
be recieving it. According to the article the U.S. Government took over three Tylenol plants last
year for not complying with Federally-mandated maufacturing guidelines. To me that means they
were trying to cut corners and not do what they were supposed to be doing. The people that work
there should think about all the damage or hurt this could cause an infant. As a parent this makes
me pretty angry that they are playing with infants lives, not knowing if the recalled Infant Tylenol
will or will not harm the infant if given to them. I know that I will not purchase any Tylenol product
again.
